Review the work, communication and overall fit at the end of the week. If you're happy, you can continue working with the engineer. If not, there's no obligation to proceed.

Is the trial completely free?
Yes. The software engineer’s time during the agreed one-week trial is free, with no obligation to continue afterwards. If the work requires third-party licences, hosting or other external services, we will discuss these with you before any costs are incurred.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract before the trial?
No. The trial is designed to let you work with the engineer before deciding whether to continue. We can put an NDA in place before you share detailed project information, and there is no obligation to continue after the trial.

How many engineering hours are included?
The free trial includes up to 40 hours with one software engineer over one working week. The time can be used for agreed development work, technical discussions and reviewing the work completed. We confirm the engineer, priorities and schedule with you before the trial begins.

Who owns the code and work produced?
You own the custom code and deliverables created specifically for your project during the trial, even if you decide not to continue. Existing tools and third-party components remain subject to their respective ownership and licence terms.

What happens at the end of the week?
We review the completed work together and hand over the agreed deliverables. If you would like to continue, we agree on the next scope, availability and pricing before any paid work begins.
